Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) has awarded Green Industry Level 4 from the Ministry of Industry, Thailand on September 11 2017. Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) received the award from Mr. Mongkol Pruekwatana , Director-General of department of Industrial works.

The Ministry of Industry launched the Green Industry project organization-wide including provincial industry offices, institutes and industrial estates to raise the awareness of industrial firms on social and environmental issues and to reward the environmental friendly industries by certifying the 5 levels Green Industry marks for the firms. This year, Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) apply Green Industry Level 4, Green Culture. To achieve Green Industry Level 4, the firm should be transparency in its decisions and activities that impact on environment, the firm should actively promote ethical behavior regarding the environment the firm should respect, consider and respond to the interests of its stakeholders regarding the environmental aspects.
This year totally 104 firms rewarded Green Industry Level 4 and only 3 firms from the electric and electronic industry rewarded it, including Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand).
