The 2016 New Cosmos of Photography Tokyo Exhibition — Grand Prize selection open committee meeting and artists’ talk to be held during exhibition period

The 2016 New Cosmos of Photography Tokyo Exhibition will present Excellence Award-winning works by seven artists and Honorable Mention works by 14 artists, who were selected among the 1,723 entrants of the 2016 39th competition. An exhibition of new works by 2015 co-Grand Prize winner, Teppei Sako, will be held simultaneously.
On Friday, November 11, the Grand Prize selection committee will hold a public meeting to select the Grand Prize winner among the seven Excellence Award winners.
On Saturday, October 29, the Excellence Award winners and Honorable Mention winners will present their works and the intentions behind their creation during the artists’ talk.

1. The 2016 New Cosmos of Photography Tokyo Exhibition

Schedule:	Part 1: The 14 Honorable Mention Award winners from 2016 introduce their works and talk about the intentions behind their creations. Part 2: The seven Excellence Award winners from 2016 and the 2015 Grand Prize winner introduce themselves, present the intentions behind the creation of their works.

How to make a reservation:	Reservations will be accepted by e-mail. Send an e-mail with the subject “I wish to attend the Grand Prize selection open committee meeting” with your name, address, and number of participants (up to two) to the “cast@web.canon.co.jp” In the case of two participants, please include the name of the second person as well. (Refer to this website for information on the handling of personal information.)
Reservation period:	Reservations are accepted from today until the seating capacity is reached. (When the capacity is reached, this will be informed on the New Cosmos of Photography website.)
Reservation results:	You will be informed by a reply mail. Print out the notification mail on the event day, and bring it with you. (You will need to show it upon entry)
