Canon commits to membership of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)

TOKYO, December 25, 2019—Canon Inc. today announced that the company has committed to membership of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).

The RBA is a non-profit organization supporting the rights and well-being of workers and communities worldwide affected by the global supply chain. Founded in 2004 as the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) by a group of leading electronics companies, the RBA has expanded to include companies around the world in such industries as electronics, retail, auto and toys.
As a member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), Canon fully supports the vision and goals of the RBA:

    Members, suppliers and stakeholders collaborate to improve working and environmental conditions through leading standards and practices.
