Canon Dalian won a Dalian Leading Energy Statistical Business Process Company Award at a ceremony for the Dalian Energy Statistical Operations Awards, sponsored by the Dalian Economic and Information Technology Committee. The ceremony was held on January 16 2017 at the Zhongxia Garden Hotel in Dalian, China.

The awards committee looked at 106 companies in Dalian specified by China's National Energy Commission. Twenty companies as priority energy management companies, including Canon Dalian, received the award. This was Canon Dalian's second time to receive the award since 2012.
In winning the award, Canon Dalian was recognized for its promotion of high energy-conservation activates, like energy-conservation measures, the results of energy-conservation audits by the committee and its education program of energy-conservation.
