We are also providing cameras, printers, and other products free of charge to medical institutions, schools, non-profit organizations, and other organizations for use in their activities.

Canon U.S.A. released EOS Webcam Utility Beta software that enables the use of interchangeable lens cameras as web cameras.
Canon Mexicana, S. de R.L. de C.V.
Canon Mexicana is conducting "Faces behind the mask" activities in cooperation with medical institutions to help ease the anxiety of patients and improve communication among medical professionals.
Photographs of the smiling faces of healthcare workers are printed using inkjet or compact photo printers and worn on their scrubs so patients and colleagues can see the face behind the mask.

  • Canon Spain collaborated with the #DibujosconSentimiento initiative, a special campaign launched to help fill the walls of a temporary hospital set up in the IFEMA exhibition complex in Madrid with color. Staff volunteers from Canon Spain printed the nearly 4,000 picture submissions and sent them to the IFEMA complex to be put up around the makeshift hospital to cheer up patients and hospital staff.
  • Around 12,000 children's books, including Don Quixote, were printed on the Canon VarioPrint. In collaboration with printing and delivery company Ormamail, the books were made available free of charge to children aged 6 to 12 who did not have access to a network environment.
  • Canon Belgium N.V./S.A.
    Canon Belgium held the #FirstHugs campaign on social media, in which the company photographed the reunion first hugs of those who were separated due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

  • Canon Italia has donated more than 250 Canon products, including laser printers, multifunction devices, inkjet printers and digital cameras, to the Italian Red Cross, hospitals, emergency centers, nursing homes and schools.
  • Donated several multifunctional copiers and laser printers to a temporary hospital in Bergamo, one of the cities most affected by the outbreak of COVID-19, and 20 laser printers to a public health company.
