It’s impossible to find certainty in the existence of the world. In failing to recognize ourselves, ambiguity, shrouded in uncertainty, heightens. But instants occur when we are suddenly freed from these doubts and a perfectly pure and clear world emerges. I accumulate these moments, these fragments, without end from close distance.
Thoughts like these drive me to take photographs. Should my works become a page in someone’s internal world, they will become a clue to self-knowledge and recognition. But perfection is also impossible. That’s why I will keep taking photos.

The visuals evoke something akin to a fable, but the intermittent appearance and disappearance of the personal within these visuals is what struck me the most. They can’t be called cinematic, but narratives, fictions, can be seen within them. The photos appear to be arranged to show the passing of time. I’m looking forward to see how they are presented at the exhibition.
