The Grand Prize winner of the New Cosmos of Photography 2018 (41st competition) was announced

The Grand Prize selection open committee of the New Cosmos of Photography 2018 (41st competition) met in front of a public audience on Friday, November 2, at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum.

The Grand Prize winner of the 41st competition was selected from among seven Excellence Award finalists — Shinichiro Uchikura (selected by Tomoko Sawada), Susumu Okada (selected by Sandra Phillips), Kyosuke Sasaki (selected by Kunie Sugiura), Song-Nian Ang (selected by Emilia van Lynden), Derek Man (selected by Hiraki Sawa), Masashi Beppu (selected by Takashi Yasumura), Megumi Yamakoshi (selected by Noi Sawaragi).

After the finalists gave their presentations and took questions, the judges decided to award the New Cosmos of Photography 2018 Grand Prize to Song-Nian Ang.
