The New Cosmos of Photography Tokyo Exhibition 2021 will present seven Excellence Award-winning works and fourteen Honorable Mention Award-winning works, that were selected among 2,191 applicants of the 2021 competition. The exhibition will be held alongside “super smooth,” an exhibition of new work by the Grand Prize winner of the New Cosmos of Photography 2020, Seiya Higuchi.
On October 17, the artists’ talk by the award winners will be held. On November 12, the Grand Prize selection committee will hold a public meeting to select the Grand Prize winner among the seven Excellence Award winners. On November 13, photo lectures by Daisuke Yokota and Takashi Yasumura, who are members of the Grand Prize Selection Committee, will be held. On November 14, previous New Cosmos of Photography winners will host an additional slide and talk show.
