Canon provides on-site technical support to photographers and broadcast teams at Games venues.
Canon Professional Services (CPS)
At the 2026 Asian Games, held primarily in Nagoya, Canon will set up the Canon Professional Support Booth within the Main Press Center, where members of the press will gather from around the world during the event.
At the Canon Professional Support Booth, Canon staff will work to minimize downtime for photographers due to equipment failure. This will involve deploying operations such as urgent maintenance services, repairs, and free-of-charge replacement device loans. The booth will feature a broad range of equipment including the professional grade flagship mirrorless camera EOS R1, the EOS R5, which is well-suited for sports photography, and super-telephoto lenses.

Canon will also provide support for photographers at a satellite booth established within the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium, the main venue.
Canon will leverage its expertise gained through long years of supporting sport events around the world to support members of the global press and photographers, thereby helping broadcast the dynamic performances of top athletes all over the world.
