Canon Professional Services (CPS)
At the 2026 Asian Games, held primarily in Nagoya, Canon set up the Canon Professional Support Booth within the Main Press Center, where members of the press gathered from around the world during the event.
At the Canon Professional Support Booth, Canon staff worked to minimize downtime for photographers due to equipment failure. This involved deploying operations such as urgent maintenance services, repairs, and free-of-charge replacement device loans. The booth featured a broad range of equipment, including the professional-grade flagship mirrorless camera EOS R1, the EOS R5 Mark II, also well suited to sports photography, and super-telephoto lenses.

Canon also provided support for photographers at a satellite booth established within the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium, the main venue.
Canon will leverage its expertise gained through long years of supporting sport events around the world to support members of the global press and photographers, thereby helping broadcast the dynamic performances of top athletes all over the world.
