The EF24-105mm f/4L IS II USM standard-zoom lens is a renewed version of the eleven-year-old EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM (released in October 2005) and will be bundled as a kit lens with the EOS 5D Mark IV. Equipped with four aspherical elements and employing a special Air Sphere Coating (ASC), which exhibits exceptional anti-reflective properties for incident light that enters the lens at an almost vertical angle, the lens achieves a level of image quality surpassing that of its predecessor, as well as improved peripheral light intake and reduced occurrences of distortion, flaring and ghosting.
