The E230 was developed as the successor to the E60 series, retaining the basic features including easy operation, stable shooting, and high-quality image. It incorporated a 10x zoom lens replacing the 8x zoom lens of the E63/ E60, to produce even more impressive images while featuring a 1/10000-second electronic shutter to capture clear images of rapidly moving subjects.
