Inheriting the basic features of its predecessor, which offered outstanding value for money, the ES180 / UC6000 incorporated a 16x zoom lens and digital editing functions in the camera signal-processing system. Operability of the ES180 / UC6000‘s multiple functions was improved with the employment of two customizable keys. It also adopted a parallel-layout exterior design, putting it in line with the rest of Canon’s video camcorder lineup, in a compact size.
