The CN-E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S features an 18–80 mm focal length range*2, a level of optical performance supporting use with 4K cameras and HD cameras, and excellent operability and handling to accommodate varied shooting styles. Facilitating the use of a tripod or rig as well as handheld and shoulder-mounted shooting, the new Canon cinema lens serves the needs of diverse on-location shooting situations ranging from weddings, serial dramas and commercials to documentaries and journalism.

This lightweight, compact cinema lens features a built-in motorized zoom mechanism enabling smooth zooming performance while also permitting manual operability, making it ideal for single-operator productions. Additionally, by pairing the new lens with the new ZSG-C10 dedicated grip (sold separately), users can realize enhanced flexibility for shoulder mounted use and rig use, facilitating diverse shooting styles beyond the use of tripod-mounted and handheld shooting.
