The IXY 120 is equipped with a 28-224 mm (35 mm film equivalent) f/3.2-f/6.9 8x optical zoom lens that, through Progressive Fine Zoom technology, realizes a digitally magnified zoom ratio of approximately 16x while maintaining high image resolution. The camera is equipped with a DIGIC 4+ image processor and also features Smart AUTO and Intelligent IS.
