Delivering high-image-quality performance in a compact, lightweight body design, the Canon EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM ultra-wide-angle lens features a newly developed optical design that includes one UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) and two aspherical lens elements—one of which is a high-precision large-diameter PMo (Plastic-Molded) lens. The first Canon EF-S-series wide-angle lens to include IS, the EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM achieves image stabilization equivalent to approximately four shutter-speed stops.* The wide angle of view lets users capture vast landscapes as well as subjects in space-restrictive indoor settings
* Conforms with CIPA standards. When used with the EOS 7D digital SLR camera at an 18 mm focal length (35 mm equivalent of 29 mm).
