SLR camera with TTL full-aperture aperture-priority AE and TTL manual metering. Compatible with Canon FD lenses.
This camera was developed for the overseas market and it was not sold in Japan. It featured a vertical-travel, focal-plane electronic shutter with metal curtains. Aperture-priority AE was effective for 8 sec. to 1/1000 sec. and X-sync (1/60 sec.). Manual exposure was good for 1 sec. to 1/1000 sec. and B. Center-weighted averaging metering. Metering range of EV 1 – 18 at ISO 100.
