An IX 240 camera for beginners. The small and lightweight IXY 25 features a 30-60mm zoom lens, drop-in film loading, C, H, and P print formats, and magnetic recording of five items of picture-taking information. This information is used during the printing process to improve print quality (PQI). IX information such as the date and time is also recorded magnetically. The camera also has an LCD panel and built-in flash with a red-eye reduction feature. The flat profile and silver-finish front cover give a luxury touch.
