Economy model for those who did not need flash capability. It was a II S2 without internal flash-sync capability. Using flash with this camera required Flash Unit B II which synchronized externally. With a 50mm f/2.8 lens, it had a low price of 48,000 yen. Slightly over 16,000 units were made, as with the II S2.
