When I view an image on my monitor, it has a faintly blue appearance. The color on my monitor differ from those I shot and from those that are printed.
A1
This situation can be improved by calibrating your monitor.
In some cases, LCD monitors for use in offices were adjusted at the factory to have a rather bluish display to make reading text easier.
To check the photographed image and make corrections, it is necessary to determine whether the color tones of your monitor have been correctly set.

Please download the “~.pf2” file from Canon’s Web site.
Picture Style has been upgraded for compatibility with the latest Digital Photo Professional Ver.3 and EOS Utility Ver.2, and the previously used file “~.pse” has been replaced by “~.pf2”. We are sorry for the added inconvenience, but kindly downloaded this latest upgrade for Digital Photo Professional Ver.3 from Canon’s Web site. Functionality remains the same as the previous download.
To the person using Digital Photo Professional Ver.3.0 and EOS Utility Ver.2.0
Though the Picture Style file made by "Picture Style Editor", added as a new feature, is indicated as the “.pf2” extension, it is non-correspondence to Digital Photo Professional Ver.3.0 and EOS Utility Ver.2.0.
When using it, Digital Photo Professional Ver.3.1 or later and EOS Utility Ver.2.1 or later must be installed. The latest version Digital Photo Professional, EOS Utility, and Picture Style files can be downloaded from Canon's Web site.

Q3
I want to apply Picture Style to RAW images shot with earlier EOS DIGITAL cameras.
A3
You can apply Picture Style with Digital Photo Professional.
When RAW images shot with an EOS DIGITAL camera not equipped with Picture Style are opened in Digital Photo Professional, the following style and settings (in the case of default setting) are used.
Picture Style settings used when RAW images shot with earlier EOS DIGITAL cameras are opened with Digital Photo Professional
EOS-1D, EOS-1Ds, EOS-1D Mark II and EOS-1Ds Mark II
Images shot with an EOS-1D series camera will be developed in the “Neutral” Picture Style. If you want the color of the “Standard” Picture Style, apply the “Standard” Picture Style.
EOS 10D/D60/D30 and EOS 20D/20Da in Creative zone modes
Images shot with these cameras will be developed in the “Standard” Picture Style. However, the Contrast (tone curve slider) and Saturation setting will be one level lower than if the images had been shot with a camera equipped with Picture Style. For colors that a camera equipped with Picture Style would have produced, manually move the Contrast and Saturation sliders up one level.
EOS DIGITAL REBEL series and EOS 300D/350D DIGITAL series in Creative zone modes
Images shot with EOS DIGITAL REBEL series and EOS 300D/350D DIGITAL series are developed in the “Standard” Picture Style. The colors of these images are the same as those produced by later EOS DIGITAL camera shooting in the “Standard” Picture Style.

Q4
When I use Picture Style setting, is it possible to produce color expression approximating that of EOS DIGITAL cameras I purchased in the past?
A4
If you want to produce colors approximating those of earlier EOS DIGITAL cameras,
use the table below to select the right Picture Style.
Earlier EOS DIGITAL cameras not equipped with Picture Style used different color settings in processing parameters and color matrixes.
Changing in Picture Style settings will produce colors that are similar—not identical—to those of earlier EOS DIGITAL cameras.
*1 Sharpness setting = 0
*2 Sharpness and Contrast settings = 0
*3 Color Space = sRGB; All settings (Sharpness, Contrast, Saturation, and Color Tone) = 0
