Canon Canada is headquartered in Brampton, Ontario. We participate in various activities in cooperation with environmental organizations around Canada.
In 2014, Branch Out began as a tree-planting program and since then has evolved into a wide range of sustainability activities including raingarden planting, wildflower planting, stream and shoreline clean up, and in-stream data collection.
Employees across all 11 Canon Canada offices are encouraged to participate in the annual event, spending an afternoon contributing to sustainable environments in their communities. Since the start of the program, employees have contributed to over 10,000 hours of volunteer work across the country. In recognition of its initiatives, Canon has been named as one of “Canada’s Greenest Employers” under the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project sponsored by The Globe and Mail, one of Canada’s leading daily newspapers, for five consecutive years since 2019.
