PowerShot A5 Zoom is sister model to the PowerShot A5 launched in April,1998. The new camera is equipped with a high-performance 28-70mm (35mm camera equivalent) 2.5x wide zoom lens which incorporates three aspherical lens elements to minimize distortion and correct for a variety of lens aberrations.
