The Canon Autoboy LUNA 105 S, developed as the successor to the Autoboy LUNA 105, launched in June 1997, realizes exceptionally high cost performance, effectively balancing the benefits of high functionality, refined design and outstanding operability at a low suggested retail price.

The camera’s high-performance 2.8x (38-105mm) zoom lens incorporates two aspherical lens elements that effectively correct for a variety of lens aberrations to deliver sharp imaging performance throughout the entire zoom range. Furthermore, the Autoboy LUNA 105 S’s 3-point AiAF focusing enables the camera to accurately identify the main subject, even when it does not appear in the center of the viewfinder, while the slide-out Light Guide Flash helps reduce the occurrence of red-eye when shooting in the telephoto range. These features enable users to easily achieve consistently high-quality results.

Other advanced features include manual +/-1.5-step exposure compensation, center 1-point AF, to ensure accurate focus on the intended subject, and RT (Real Time) Release, which enables users to capture the best moment in any shooting situation with virtually real-time exposures.

The body of the new Canon compact camera features a stylish white-gold and neutral-titanium two-tone front-face design and a thin metallic ring around the lens unit provides a refined accent.
