The HSL notation used in Picture Style Editor is a color expression system comprised of three elements used to express color, namely hue (H), saturation (S), and luminosity (L). HSB notation, as used in Adobe Photoshop and others, is a similar color expression system, but is comprised of hue, saturation, and brightness (B). This similarity may seem confusing, but once you understand the difference between them, color can be intuitively edited in Picture Style Editor. |
