Canon requests removal of toner cartridge offered by MENGYAN STORE from Amazon.com

TOKYO, August 5, 2020—Canon Inc. today announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by MENGYAN STORE for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon's infringement report alleged that certain model CE320A, CE321A, CE322A and CE323A toner cartridges sold by MENGYAN STORE via Amazon.com infringed Canon's U.S. Patent No. 8,588,646. Canon requested that Amazon remove MENGYAN STORE's listings for those products, namely, MENGYAN STORE's listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers ("ASINs") B0818R482R, B0818QZPF7, B0818R14BF and B0818RQJJR.

At the time of this announcement, the above-identified MENGYAN STORE listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
