Canon requests removal of toner cartridge offered by JC TONER from Amazon.com

TOKYO, December 3, 2020—Canon Inc. today announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by JC TONER for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon's infringement report alleged that certain model CE320A, CE321A, CE322A and CE323A toner cartridges sold by JC TONER via Amazon.com infringed Canon's U.S. Patent No. 8,588,646. Canon requested that Amazon remove JC TONER's listings for those products, namely, JC TONER's listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers ("ASINs") B074P2VYLT, B074P6GKL5 and B074PNCH48.

At the time of this announcement, the above-identified JC TONER's listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
