Canon requests removal of toner cartridge offered by RapmininK from Amazon.com

TOKYO, June 21, 2021—Canon Inc. today announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by RapmininK for use in HP laser beam printers.

Canon's infringement report alleged that certain model CE410A, CE410X, CE411X, CE412X, CE413X, CB540A, CB541A, CB542A, CB543A, CE320A, CE321A, CE322A, CE323A, CC530A, CC531A, CC532A and CC533A toner cartridges sold by RapmininK via Amazon.com infringed Canon's U.S. Patent No. 8,588,646. Canon requested that Amazon remove RapmininK's listings for those products, namely, RapmininK's listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers ("ASINs") B07FDQRFPZ, B07YXZLB4H, B078YL7MKQ, B07B2RY6CR and B0791BB4DY.

At the time of this announcement, the above-identified RapmininK listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
