Canon aids relief effort following 2024 Noto Peninsula heavy rainfall

TOKYO, October 2, 2024—In September 2024, the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan was struck by heavy rain. We at Canon would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected and our thoughts go out to those who are suffering.

To aid in the relief efforts, the Canon Group will donate a total of ¥10 million (approximately US$69,400) to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

We sincerely pray that the region will soon be able to begin the rebuilding and healing process.
