Canon's activities lead to the removal of certain toner cartridge listings, including SUPER IMAGE OFFICE's myCartridge products, from Amazon.com
TOKYO, May 28, 2026— Canon Inc. today announced that it has notified Amazon that certain toner cartridges sold on the platform infringe Canon's patents and requested the removal of such product offerings from Amazon.com.
In its report to Amazon, Canon identified, among others, the product listings shown in the table below and alleged that the cartridges sold under those listings by the sellers identified below infringe Canon's U.S. Patent No. 12,242,222.
