Canon successfully removed toner cartridge listings from e-commerce platforms in first half of 2026

TOKYO, July 29, 2026—Canon Inc. today announced that it successfully removed multiple listings of third-party toner cartridges for use in laser printers across different e-commerce platforms in the first half of 2026.

During the current reporting period, as part of its business strategy, Canon identified the patents listed in the table below from its patent portfolio and requested the removal of listings from the following e-commerce platforms that were deemed to infringe those patents.
