Canon's activities lead to the removal of certain toner cartridge offerings, including Ritotech supplies's offering of RitoTech brand cartridges, from Amazon.com

TOKYO, September 17, 2026— Canon Inc. today announced that it has notified Amazon that certain toner cartridges sold on the platform infringe one of Canon's patents and requested the removal of these product offerings from Amazon.com.

In its report to Amazon, Canon identified the product offerings shown in the table below and alleged that the cartridges sold under those offerings by the sellers identified below infringe Canon's U.S. Patent No. 12,242,222.
