  • Q What is the operating environment for the Procurement Supplier Portal?

A The recommended operating environment for our Procurement Supplier Portal and procurement systems is as follows:
    OS : Windows11 (64bit)
Web Browser : Microsoft Edge Chromium
MS Office software : Microsoft 365 Apps
  • Q I would like to set up a PC to use the Procurement Supplier Portal. Is there a setting manual?

A Authentication setup using either of the following is required:
    • Smartphone app: Microsoft Authenticator
    • PC browser extension: Authenticator: 2FA Client
    Please refer to the manual.
  • Q Changed the PC/OS. (Or I have plans to replace it.) What should I do?

A If you are using the smartphone app (Microsoft Authenticator) for authentication, reconfiguration is not required.
If you are using the PC browser extension (Authenticator: 2FA Client), please contact your company's User Administrator. The User Administrator can perform a Multi-factor Authentication reset, which will allow you to reconfigure the authentication settings. After the reset, install the Authenticator app on the new device, scan the QR code, and complete the authentication setup again.
If the User Administrator themselves requires a Multi-factor Authentication reset, please submit a request via Inquiries about Procurement Supplier Portal.
  • Q What should I do if I change / lose my smartphone?

A If you change or lose your smartphone, please contact your company's User Administrator. The User Administrator can perform a Multi-factor Authentication reset, allowing you to reconfigure the authentication settings. After the reset, install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your new device, scan the QR code, and complete the setup again.
If the User Administrator themselves requires a Multi-factor Authentication reset, please submit a request via Inquiries about Procurement Supplier Portal.
  • Q What should I do when “Enter password”?

A If you do not know your password, please click “Forgot my password” or contact your company's IT department.
  • Q What should I do when “Enter code”?

A If the message “We just sent a code to *****@****.” is displayed under “Enter code”, please check an email (subject: Your キヤノン株式会社(Canon Inc.) account verification code). Copy account verification code from the email body, and paste it for sign in.
If the message “Enter the code displayed in the authenticator app on your mobile device” is displayed under “Enter code”, please check the code shown in your configured authentication software(either the Microsoft Authenticator smartphone app or the Authenticator: 2FA Client PC browser extension), enter the code, and proceed with sign-in.
  • Q While setting up authentication with the PC browser extension (Authenticator: 2FA Client), the “Secret key” is not displayed.

A If you click “Next” on the “Install Microsoft Authenticator” screen, you will be redirected to the smartphone app setup screen, and the Secret key will not be displayed. Please return to the “Install Microsoft Authenticator” screen and click “Set up a different authenticator app.”
  • Q I would like to switch my authentication method (smartphone app ↔ PC browser extension).

A Please ask your company's User Administrator to perform a Multi-factor Authentication reset, and then complete the setup again. User Administrators may also reset their own Multi-factor Authentication.
Please note that the same account cannot be registered on both a smartphone app and a PC browser extension at the same time. Choose either one authentication method.
  • Q What does “User Administrator” mean?

A At least one user within your company is registered as a User Administrator.
If you are unsure who your company's User Administrator is, please check the User List menu. The user whose User Role is shown as “Administrator” is your company's User Administrator. If you are unable to log in and cannot access the User List, please contact us via Inquiries about Procurement Supplier Portal.
