Volumetric video data of the participating artists was provided for the online LIVE held at the cyberpunk metaverse space “ANOTHER” hosted by Avex Corporation on February 18, 2024.
By utilizing Canon’s volumetric video technology, we have achieved a camerawork with freely 360 degree that can show an artist's performance at a mechanical island floating on grayish water or a huge disc floating in the air. In addition, since the artists are volumetric video data, we have realized video production such as representing the artist herself with the point cloud of light or colorful balls, that cannot be expressed in real live performances.
