Corporate visit by International Students of The World Customs Organization (WCO)

The World Customs Organization (WCO) annually accepts customs officials from developing countries (mainly from Africa and Asia) at Aoyama Gakuin University Graduate School and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) under a study abroad program for human resource development. As part of a course on border enforcement of intellectual-property-infringing products, the customs officials from various countries visited Canon. Canon gave lectures on its business activities, basic policy on anti-counterfeiting and actual border enforcement actions, and exchanged opinions with customs officials. In addition to the lectures, participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Canon through a showroom tour introducing Canon's history and its products.
