Participating in a Roundtable Discussion with World Customs Organization (WCO) Students

Canon participated in a round-table discussion hosted by CIPIC (Customs Intellectual Property Information Center). The discussion was organized to facilitate an exchange of views between fellowship students from the WCO (World Customs Organization) who are enrolled in the SMIPRP(Strategic Management and Intellectual Property Program)at the Aoyama Gakuin University Graduate School and Japanese rights holders, including Canon. During the event, participants engaged in lively discussions on the challenges faced by customs authorities and rights holders, as well as effective border enforcement strategies, alongside presentations on the IP border enforcement systems of countries represented by the WCO scholars (4 countries from Asia, 5 countries from Africa).
